Review of The Social Media Series #1-6 by J.A. Huss!

Social Media Cover

So I thought this was going to be more of a light hearted read by J.A. Huss. I must say, I have no idea what the hell I was thinking! I should have known better, and this whole series consumed me from beginning to end with super sexy scenes, mystery and twists, and certainly angsty moments!

I started this series with the audible books 1-3, which were actually my first…an audible virgin! I was concerned there would be a disconnect for me in listening, but it didn’t at all. They audible voices were really good, and I think they gave me a different insight into the characters that I would not normally have. There isn’t an audible for 4-6, so I finished with reading the rest of the books.  I didn’t feel it changed the feel of the series for me at all, and the adjustment was made easily being that ‘Status’ (Social Media, #4) is also where the plot thickens.

Initially, I didn’t really see that there was going to be a lot of depth to the relationship between Grace and Vaughn. The sexy scenes were smokin’ hot, but there just didn’t seem to be much to Vaughn and his arrogant and sexually demanding ways. Of course I was wrong, and as their relationship came to fruition there was just so much more to this story for both Grace and Vaughn. The alternating POV’s allowed me to feel more depth for both of the characters, I enjoyed being able to see the softer side to Vaughn. He was so unbelievably charming!Social Media 4-6 Cover

The writing was fantastic! Huss has such a unique style, and she is so creative with her stories. Where she comes up with the twists I have no idea, and the way in which she integrates them into her stories is truly great!
