HELLO 2019!

This has been a pretty successful year for me both in reading and in Bloglandia! It was so hard to narrow down my favorite reads of 2018, because it was such a fantastic year for new releases. I’ve also met some awesome new blogging besties this year and have enjoyed getting to know many of you better. I just love the camaraderie we all share for books, reading, and well, life in general!

Here are a few highlights to wrap up my 2018 year in books!

I’m really enjoying audiobooks, and this is a big one for me friends!

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve always been challenged to find audiobooks to engage me and hold my attention. This year, I’ve finally found some really great ones, and here are a few of my favorites!

I finally met my Goodreads Reading Challenge for the year!

I’ve come close and only missed by a few the last two years with my goal of 100 books. I guess it’s a no-brainer, so I set it a few lower and BAM – I did it!

#Bookstagram ~ I love it!

I challenged myself at the beginning of the year to put more effort into working with Instagram and have totally fallen in love with the Bookstagram community! It’s so fun to scroll through the feed of beautiful photos and book recommendations. I will admit it can be a little intimidating to get the courage to post my own clearly-not-professional photos without worry. However, it’s such an accepting and supportive community, and I’m really glad that I’ve put myself out there more to join in and be a  part!

Okay, okay, let’s Wrap it Up! 

It’s always a challenge to keep a balance across all of my social media. Whenever I’m really rocking one platform, it’s hard to show the others the love they deserve. I’ve done pretty well with Instagram and my blog this year even though I haven’t posted here as much lately. Life just happens ya’ know? Anyway, I plan to keep working hard to maintain more consistency with my postings.

This year, I’m going to focus more on Twitter as well. Do you use it as much? I’ve slowly been breaking up with Facebook and won’t drone on about that, but I know that a lot of bloggers use Twitter quite a bit and plan to interact more there.

I also now have Photoshop and am slowly but surely getting the hang of it. Where the hell does the time go?? Anyway, it’s a pretty awesome program, so I’m determined to set some additional time aside to learn it and use it more!

OF COURSE, I’m also planning to keep reading and reviewing and really look forward to another great year in books!

AND last but certainly not least, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support in following my blog and really appreciate your likes, enjoy reading your wonderful comments, and following those of you that have blogs as well. It has been such a pleasure!
