So, it’s been a while since I’ve read about the Harris family, and I have missed them terribly! I absolutely fell in love with the handsome British footballers in the first three standalone sports romances in this series, Challenge, Endurance, and Keeper. I’ve been delayed in getting to Gareth’s story in the duet Surrender and Dominate, but as the eldest brother of the Harris family, I’ve definitely been curious to know what was behind his seemingly complex character with his gruff and standoffish demeanor.

I absolutely adored Gareth and Sloan in this romance! There was so much depth and vulnerability to their characters and both had such heart behind their masks. Gareth and Sloan’s journey was not easy at all, but boy was it breathtaking and completely made me feel across the full spectrum of emotions.

Just the same, the narration in the audiobooks was simply fantastic! When I first heard about them being in ‘duet style’ in an interview with Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby on their Story Bites Podcast, I was very intrigued and ended up loving everything about this style. It really gave the story life, and there was so much feeling and emotion conveyed through their narration that gave me goosebumps and tears, and Gareth and Sloan’s passion was off the charts!

I absolutely loved Gareth, Treacle, and Minnow’s journey and revisiting the entire Harris clan as well. I highly recommend the audiobook format and listening to them was a total highlight in my day – I really didn’t want them to end!
