Review ‘Wicked Beautiful’ by J.T. Geissinger – 4 Stars!

Wicked Beautiful Cover

With a sexy leading couple who share a mysterious past, ‘Wicked Beautiful’ by J. T. Geissinger was a very entertaining read!  I loved the witty banter between the characters, there were some great twists and turns, and some quite touching moments as well.  As I have been anxiously awaiting the second book in her Bad Habits series to be released, I am so happy that I found this great standalone book of hers along the way!

Parker Maxwell, philanthropist and successful restaurant mogul, has really met his match when he was introduced to Victoria Price, self-renowned ‘Man Hater’ and author of the bestselling book ‘Bitches are Better.’  While Parker doesn’t realize they share this mysterious past together, he is completely drawn and determined to pursue a relationship with Victoria.  In turn, she is actually seeking revenge from her pain from their past.  Parker was definitely charming, sweet, and oh so patient with Victoria and her ‘viper- like’ personality.  Once he breaks through her barriers, we see a much softer side from her, and they definitely share quite a chemistry together!

I absolutely loved Victoria’s and Parker’s friends!  They were all so protective and loyal to them both, and I truly had some laugh out loud moments with their witty banter between each other.  Darcy LaFontaine was my favorite character, and Parker’s description of her in the beginning of the book was hilarious!  I had to pause and share that part with my husband to explain what I was laughing about!

The flow of the story was great, and I liked how everything didn’t unfold until the very end.  I was so hoping for the HEA but really wasn’t sure if it was going to happen or not. I am curious to know if there will be a follow up book with Tabby and Connor and their strong minded ways…there could definitely be a story there!

Definitely recommend this book – 4 Stars!
