Well it’s no secret that I’m a complete sucker for rockstar romances… Not only do I love music, but I always have such a soft spot for artists and musicians.

I admire their courage to place themselves front and center, open to such scrutiny while expressing themselves through their passionate songs. Also, the stories are usually emotional and angsty, so they’re often my ‘go to’ read when I want to change-up the monotony. Here are a few of my recent finds that I highly recommend checking out!

No Tomorrow is a heart-wrenching romance and journey of unconditional love and everything that you could hope for two people to overcome. I was so consumed in Blue and Piper’s emotional story that I could hardly put this one down!

My love for the characters with their flawed realities and pain was so overwhelming! Blue and Piper’s relationship spans over ten plus years and led me on such a roller coaster of feelings with their highs and lows. I truly sympathized with Blue, but honestly, if I were in Piper’s shoes, I would have had such a hard time not giving up and walking away. However, Piper knew her true happiness was with Blue, and her loyalty and belief in him was fierce!

This is my first time reading any books by Carian Cole, and I have to say that I am rather blown away with her writing. The story is edgy and raw and contains tough topics like addiction to drugs and alcohol, as well as mental illness and depression. The story made me think, it made me feel a multitude of emotions, and this ended up being one of those books that kept me up all night reading!

I’ve come across several new authors to love this year, and Cole is now one of them. I look forward to more of her writing!

I’ve become quite a fan of Jayne Frost’s writing and have really enjoyed this Sixth Street Bands Series. If you would have told me going into Down to You that Tori would be Logan’s love interest, I would have laughed it off. These two have shown distaste, animosity, and bickering throughout the previous books that only made it was clear that they couldn’t stand each other. However, with Frost’s truly great writing talent, she has totally surprised me with all the feels in Logan and Tori’s passionate enemies-to- lovers romance!

Logan and Tori’s characters had so much depth with music deep in their souls and extremely broken pasts.

Tori lost her husband and one true love in a tragic accident several years ago. That alone would be completely devastating, and Frost did a remarkable job conveying her feelings of loss and letting me feel her heartache. Logan was pompous, rude, and really just an overall jerk. He was also very misunderstood. Logan had a terrible upbringing that left him heartless and cold, protecting himself to never allow anyone close enough to hurt him again. When placed in a situation forcing them to actually spend time together, Logan and Tori found what neither expected – just how much they actually had in common.

Jayne Frost did an incredible job of bringing this unlikely pair together with their story of two broken souls and the healing power of love! I devoured it. My heart was sad. I teared up. I was happy. More than happy really, because what a wonderful happily ever after!
