Keira’s strength surprises Lachlan at every turn, and their love/hate relationship soon turns into more for this perfectly passionate pair.

As the series unfolded, the dual point of views really made all the difference, especially in regards to Lachlan. He definitely was a ruthless king and an evil killer, and in seeing how Keira brought out his ‘softer’ side, he eventually stole my heart. I also loved how Keira’s more meek character in the beginning transitioned into a such a woman of power and became the perfect match for Lachlan in the end.

Meghan March did a great job writing this series, and I loved the thrilling and sexy storyline. From the cliffhanger endings of Ruthless King and Defiant Queen, and then to the conclusion in Sinful Empire, I simply couldn’t stop reading. The writing and flow of the story flew at such a rapid and consuming pace, and I’m so glad that I waited until the whole trilogy was released, because the cliffhangers probably would have killed me!

This was such an exciting read, and I highly recommend this oh-so-steamy and action packed trilogy!
