‘Skin’ is the follow up to the hilarious personal memoir, ‘44 Chapters About 4 Men: A Memoir’ and is the story of BB’s journey with Knight, her first love. Although I couldn’t wait to read Easton’s next novel, I’ll admit that I wasn’t really sure that I wanted to know more about Knight. He seemed so weird to me, and I couldn’t see what the angry skin head or ‘Skeletor’ could offer.  However, I have to say that I just loved this unique story that touches on…well everything really. It is edgy, gritty, angry, raw, and kinky as hell. At the same time, it is sweet, romantic, and beautiful. Definitely darker and deeper than the previous one, it was still told in Easton’s very unique writing style with her natural, witty, and ‘from the hip’ humor. I guess I thought this was going to be more of a dark read, so I was pleasantly surprised that although it was definitely angsty it was also more light hearted. There was a lot of humor in the story and the characters were really charming. It was also full of feeling, passion, and longing that totally kept me full of anticipation from beginning to end.  It was super-hot and steamy, and I totally consumed it in only a few days!

What a beautifully touching romance of true love and second chances!

‘Hopeful’ had me pulled in right from the very start. Ava Elliot could never imagine that anyone like Joel Wentworth could be interested in her. He was charming and confident and women flocked to him unabashedly. Ava was quiet and insecure and would rather be the wallflower in her group of friends than have anyone scrutinize or judge her. School psychologists aren’t supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered “unethical” and “a fireable offense.” Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.

After spending years trying to spice up my sex life, I gave up and took to my journal. My Review:

I have been so excited and anxiously awaiting this new release and initial book in Raine Miller’s new Blackstone Dynasty Series, and it has definitely been well worth the wait. This is such a sweet, passionate, and super sexy romance, and the charming wealthy billionaire Caleb Blackstone is impossible not to fall in love with!

Caleb Blackstone has everything any man could ever want and more.  He is handsome, wealthy, and very successful in running his family’s empire.  Although he has it all, he questions the one thing he is missing – a woman to keep his attention and worth building a future with.  Until he meets her… and then he just knows he’s found the one.  Brooke Casterley is undeniably beautiful, but she carries a sadness with her stemming from her tragic past in which she is fighting to overcome and rebuild anew. The attraction between Brooke and Caleb is instantaneous and seems to come so naturally to them both, but they come from two different worlds.
