💕 Fall in Love with the Book Beau- Valentine’s Day GiveAway & Review! đŸ’•

www-dgbookblog-bookbeau-review-4

I am absolutely in love with the Book Beau, ‘Your book’s one true paring,’ sitting right at the top of my ‘Must-Have’ accessories for books!

The Book Beau is the original book sleeve, created and designed by Benita Botello. Each is hand crafted with great attention to detail and a lot of love. Botello’s inspiration behind the Book Beau stems from her own passion of reading and determination to create a cover for her books that would be very durable to withstand a lot of wear and tear and still keep her books in prime condition. She has definitely succeeded in her mission to make the Book Beau stand out above other book sleeves in their durability, but these lovely accessories are also unique in their beautiful styles as well. Botello uses a wide assortment of different designs, colors, and book themes (like Harry Potter, Beauty  and the Beast etc.) in her fabric selections which are right on trend and appeal to all book lovers alike. They come in four different sizes to fit every style of book, ranging from the smaller published books and up to the larger hardback books, and they retail from $15-$25 based on the size.

I was so excited when I first snagged the beautiful red and black plaid designed Book Beau, as I had been dyeing to get my hands on one of these beauties! They have become so popular that Botello is working overtime to keep up with their demand and usually sells out on her online store in minutes. So, I was super relieved when I got mine in hand. I have to admit though, that I soon realized that one is simply not enough and I needed one for all of my books. They are totally addictive and make the perfect gift as well!

To celebrate the upcoming holiday, I have this special XO’s Book Beau (shown below) to gift to one lucky winner!  I know you will love it like I do, and I am so excited to share this fantastic book accessory with you!

DaisyGal’s Review:

My brother gave me this book for Christmas. Maybe it was the fantastic title that got his attention, or perhaps he thought I could use a little pep talk. I’ll be the first to admit that I do sometimes feel a little low and doubt my own level of ‘badassness,’ so I tried to go into this read with an open mind. To be honest, I don’t usually enjoy self-help books. Although initially intriguing, they tend to be monotonous and boring a lot of the time, and my attention usually wavers early on. It always seems to be a lot of stuff that I know I should be doing, and whether I actually follow through or not is a whole different story. I know it take conscientious work and effort to make changes in your life, and sometimes I lack in the follow through which actually results in feeling even worse about myself than I did when I started. However, I thought this was a very thoughtful gift that might at least provide a little inspiration for me, and I’m so glad that I gave this terrific read a chance!

They both feel it.
But they each have a reason to fight it.
They each have a secret.

5 Star Review for ‘Skin (A 44 Chapters Novel #1)’ by B.B. Easton!

www-dgbookblog-comskinbbeaston

‘Skin’ is the follow up to the hilarious personal memoir, ‘44 Chapters About 4 Men: A Memoir’ and is the story of BB’s journey with Knight, her first love. Although I couldn’t wait to read Easton’s next novel, I’ll admit that I wasn’t really sure that I wanted to know more about Knight. He seemed so weird to me, and I couldn’t see what the angry skin head or ‘Skeletor’ could offer.  However, I have to say that I just loved this unique story that touches on
well everything really. It is edgy, gritty, angry, raw, and kinky as hell. At the same time, it is sweet, romantic, and beautiful. Definitely darker and deeper than the previous one, it was still told in Easton’s very unique writing style with her natural, witty, and ‘from the hip’ humor. New Release Review of ‘Love in Lingerie’ by Alessandra Torre!

I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her…

The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants. Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules.

Damn the company.

Damn our friendship.

Damn my fears.

DaisyGal’s Review:

I guess I thought this was going to be more of a dark read, so I was pleasantly surprised that although it was definitely angsty it was also more light hearted. There was a lot of humor in the story and the characters were really charming. It was also full of feeling, passion, and longing that totally kept me full of anticipation from beginning to end.  It was super-hot and steamy, and I totally consumed it in only a few days!

5 Stars for ‘Hopeful’ by Louise Bay!

www-dgbookblog-comhopefullouisebaycover

DaisyGal’s Review:

What a beautifully touching romance of true love and second chances!

‘Hopeful’ had me pulled in right from the very start. Ava Elliot could never imagine that anyone like Joel Wentworth could be interested in her. He was charming and confident and women flocked to him unabashedly. Ava was quiet and insecure and would rather be the wallflower in her group of friends than have anyone scrutinize or judge her. Joel was very intrigued by Ava’s simple beauty and pursued her relentlessly which resulted in them falling head over heels into a natural and effortless love. However, Ava was always afraid of letting anyone down, and instead of fighting for Joel, she lost him when he went to America. She made futile attempts to try and move on, but always knew and regretted her mistake. Then Joel came back

5 Star Review for ’44 Chapters About 4 Men’ by B.B. Easton!

dgbookblog44chaptersabout4mencover

School psychologists aren’t supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered “unethical” and “a fireable offense.” Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.

After spending years trying to spice up my sex life, I gave up and took to my journal. Perhaps my gorgeous, cold, number crunching husband simply wasn’t capable of the kind of passion I’d come to expect. After all, my ex-boyfriends—a skinhead turned US Marine turned motorcycle club outlaw, a baby-faced punk rocker out on parole, and a heavy-metal bass player—were every bit as tattooed and testosterone-fueled as the leading men in my favorite romance novels. If I couldn’t have that kind of passion again in real life, I could at least write about it. Right? Nobody had to know. It would be my little secret.
