💖 Happy Galentine’s Day book friends! What’s the news with you? The sun is finally shining and it’s warmed up here again, so I’ve been out in the flowers and this garden girl couldn’t be happier! * 📚 I’m currently reading THE RISK by @ellekennedy33 , which is book two in her Briar U Series. I’ve been looking forward to this one and always love me a good sports romance! Although I’m not too far in yet, I’m really enjoying it so far! * 🏒 Are you a big hockey fan? Honestly, it’s only through reading that I’m learning more about the game. Yep…This sports nut doesn’t really watch it! 🖼 What are your thoughts on designs and illustrations on the pages in a book? What about songs and playlists? * ☕️ Happy Monday bookies - whew, am I beat from the weekend! I had a blast at Holidays with the Belles, but I think I’ll be in recovery mode for awhile. A sign of old age perhaps? Anyhoo, I’m definitely needing this little R&R moment today with a super strong mocha to try and keep me going! * 📗 So, I started MANIK by a new-to-me author, @thatcrazykiwiauthor this weekend. Have you read her books before? * 📗 I keep hearing great things about her darker romances, and this one got my attention with the combined mafia and music storyline. Let me tell you, Manik is definitely a pretty effed up dude, but man if I’m not sucked into this suspenseful romance! * 📗 Each chapter has this pretty graphic and a different song to go along with it, and I think it’s always intriguing when authors do this. I like how it breaks up the reading monotony and really enjoy listening to the playlists - the music definitely brings more emotion to the story for me! * ❓What about you? 🧐 Well, how’s it look? I think I’m ready! * Happy Friday book friends, who’s ready for the weekend? Me, me, me!! 🙌🏻 * 🦋 I’ve got some butterflies going on about Holidays with the Belles tomorrow!! I don’t usually take a whole lot of books to signings because of my limited bookshelf space at home, so this is a nice little haul for me. I’ve got some pre-orders to pick up there, and I’m also pretty sure I’ll be coming home with even more books that I can’t resist!! * 📚 Do you have any favorite books or authors that are in my book stack? 🌼 What’s a book or cover that makes you think of spring and why? * 🌼 Oh my gosh, it’s day three of 80 degree weather here today! How crazy is that? Mother Nature is such a tease! Of course, there’s not much green in my gardens, but I still had to play outside and take some photos anyway - even if it’s only with my yard art flowers! * 🏄‍♂️ I just love the cover for TRANSCEND by @authorjeweleann, and it definitely makes me think of spring - HELLO hunky surfer dude! I just finished the audiobook, and I’m really just blown away with this story. It’s suspenseful and unique in that it deals with elements of the afterlife, so I’m kind of swimming in the feels right now. It took me all of a few seconds to nab up the audiobook for EPOCH (book two in the duet), because I’m dying to know how this romance is going to play out! * 🌼 Although I got the ebook for TRANSCEND awhile back, I was looking for a good audiobook and decided to listen to it instead.
