Royally-Matched-3D-bookSome men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world’s most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor.

But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.

As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

DaisyGal’s Review:

‘Royally Matched’ is a light-hearted and fun read that takes place in the dreamy lifestyle of royalty and elegance. Topped off with a lusty Prince, charming characters, and a reality T.V. show… seriously, who could ask for more? However, Emma Chase has outdone herself in this enchanting tale of two people finding themselves and at the same time finding a very true love. With incredibly sweet and passionate moments, this beautifully written romance has truly captured my heart!

The super sexy, fun-loving, and borderline ‘scandaliscious’ Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, has never had to face the consequences in living his playboy lifestyle. He has always lived in the shadow of his older brother, Prince Nicholas, where he was quite content hiding behind booze and women. It never mattered if he was a disappointment or not, because no one ever really had any expectations of him. That is until Nicholas renounced his role as future King of Wessco, and Henry has some pretty big shoes to fill as the new predecessor to the throne. Now full of doubt in himself and his ability to lead his country, he is lost but unexpectedly meets the one person who accepts him for who he is, helps him to see that he has so much more to offer, and gives him the courage to be the next King.

‘The tale of an unruly prince who found the queen of his heart, and learned how to be a King.’

When Henry meets Sara, he finds her so refreshing from the very start. She is simple, shy, and sweet. She is not part of the reality show but instead at the castle only to watch over her sister during filming. Henry adores Sarah’s quiet beauty and can’t resist trying to bring her out of her shell. As he gets to know her better though, he soon realizes that hidden inside is an incredibly strong and brave woman that he truly needs in his life.

Sarah was content living her dreams in books and out of the limelight. She was flawed, and the thought of attention from someone like Henry terrified her. However, Sarah knew what it was like to be judged, and she understood and accepted Henry.  Beneath all of his orneriness, she saw the caring, loving, and very generous man he was – the one who made her feel alive and want to take chances in life.

This beautiful, broken, pitiful prince. Was Henry ever told how brilliant he is? Kind and strong, generous, and good? I don’t think he was and they should’ve told him. Every single day.

Henry and Sarah were so charming together and complemented each other perfectly! I really enjoyed the dual points of view which helped to reveal their underlying weaknesses and hidden strengths. They were able to overcome so much together, and their complete admiration and devotion to each other was incredibly touching.

I must say that Henry and Sarah had some of the sweetest and most passionate love scenes that I have read lately. They were very heartfelt, intense, and so beautifully written. There was just the perfect touch of angst in the story that kept me in anticipation of their Happily Ever After. Just when I felt they might almost find it, they weren’t quite ready yet. I understood how at the end of the day, it was more important for them to find themselves first.

I loved the dynamics between the Royal family and their circle of friends. They were all so funny and unique in their own way and in their dedication to each other. I thought it was so touching how strongly Prince Nicholas really believed in his brother, and he understood that he just needed time to get his head wrapped around his new path and future. Although the feisty Queen seemed to be so disappointed in Henry, she really just wanted him to become the man that she knew he was. Willard was fantastic with his ‘7-foot-tall’ personality, and I was excited to see Simon and Franny (I just love the heck out of her!) again as well.

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Emma Chase. She completely drew me into this glamorous and royal lifestyle, which also came along with constant attention, scrutiny, and many challenges. She created very relatable and imperfect characters who I could not help but to empathize with. Chase also has this uncanny ability to genuinely make me laugh. I love her wit and humor throughout the story with her references to things like ‘Schweddy Balls,’ one of my favorite Saturday Night Live skits, and her incorporation of some of my favorite musicians and songs like ‘Little Wonders’ and ‘Hallelujah.’ I almost feel like we must be kindred spirits of sorts, and I know I’ve said it before, but these small touches always seem to draw my attention and leave me with a smile on my face!

I really thought it would be hard to top ‘Royally Screwed,’ because quite honestly, Prince Nicholas and Olivia’s story was just pretty fantastic. However, I truly loved Prince Henry and Sarah’s incredibly passionate romance, and I can definitely see myself reading this one again. Although I do feel a little sad that their story is over, I am happy in knowing that it has really only just begun!

The Royally Series is completely addicting and by far one of my favorites! I can’t wait for the next book in this series, ‘Royally Endowed’ which is set to release in June of 2017!
